At 41mm wide in very well-polished OysterSteel (Rolex’s own 904L steel formulation), the Rolex Oyster Perpetual 41 has a matching brushed steel tapering Oyster bracelet. The rounded, polished bezel is the ultimate casual touch, and the new dial with its partial “double-baton” hour markers makes for a slightly more aggressive and masculine dial than the Oyster Perpetual 39 watches that the 124300 41mm generation replaces. Inside the watches are in-house-made Rolex caliber 3230 automatic movements that operate at 4Hz and have 70 hours of power reserve. These are excellent movements and among the best, you can get for this price point.

Rolex is defined by the iconic models in its catalog, yet at the same time it’s a catalog of bread-and-butter, and no watch – sans maybe the iconic Datejust – better represents that ethos than the Oyster Perpetual (OP).

In late 2020, Rolex completely refreshed the Oyster Perpetual line, at the time unleashing an onslaught of new colors and sizes. Most notable were the pastel dial colorways which now composed the collection alongside a handful of more traditional options in blue, black, and silver.
